There is a reason that Mosquito model kits never give you the option of flaps in the down position. It's because they seem to hang in midair when lowered. The connection points seem small and fragile, but Mike has come up with a very clever solution that supplies the inner and outer flap for each wing linked in one piece, easing alignment as well. It's pretty cool, and only requires removing a few ribs inside the wings. Designed for the Airfix Mk.XVI kits. CAD by Mike O'Hare.
