One such vehicle was the Panzerj��½ger IB mit StuK 40 L/48, a tank hunter based on the chassis of the old Panzer I Ausf.B light tank and mounting a 7.5cm StuK 40 gun from a StuG tank destroyer. This vehicle is believed to be a one-off field conversion that appeared late in the war, with photographic evidence placing it in the vicinity of Berlin.
